3ESPACE, the flagship project of SANY Foundation, has been supporting Serve for China to bolster the sustainable development of countryside in China.
"Our charity idea is consistent with 3ESPACE's philosophy of 'rational and practical charity programs' because we aim to build the capacity of the villagers and then get rid of poverty by themselves," Qin Yuefei, Serve for China co-founder said at the recent 3ESPACE ceremony.
Serve for China was founded by a group of Chinese graduates from Yale and Harvard Universities. It endeavors to cultivate entrepreneurs and public service providers in China's countryside so as to achieve sustainable development of the countryside. In 2015, it offered crowd funding, e-commerce, law education, start-up support and other services to various villages throughout China, bringing about significant effect on the local areas.
The Serve for China Fellowship program in 2016 plans each year to invite graduates from prestigious universities to work in the countryside for two years to engage in business start-up and poverty alleviation. By helping the young villagers to start business in an innovative and efficient way, Serve for China helps solve the most urgent problems that affect people's livelihood in the poor countryside in China.
SANY's movement in supporting the countryside development has already been initiated since long time. In 2013, SANY launched V8 concrete equipment set specially designed to help build houses, roads and ponds in the countryside. Last December, SANY Foundation donated almost a thousand solar lamps to four elementary schools in remote China, lightening road for children to school.
